Opportunities for self development:

 As an Producer I have to manage the theory side of things, this gives me the opportunity for my skills to be enhance my management skills. I have to make sure that all of theory things are done in our pre production work. For example, when it comes to the risk assessments and the budget it is my job to make sure that these will be completed and to the best of my ability. This then means that  all of the work that I do must be organised at a professional standard.

New Skills:

I previously touched on the fact that I feel that this will give me the ability to become organised and form new skills as I will have to make sure that this is presented at professional standards. I feel that this will be beneficial due to the fact that I do not consider myself as organised as I could be so therefore I feel that this will be useful for me due to the fact this can enhance my skills.

Multi- Skills:

Multi- skills are very important as a producer due to the fact that I have to communicate with the production team what they have to do, the reason for this is so that we can all work together to create our final product to the best standard. Also to discuss what needs to be completed. Also planning must be another skill that is required due to the fact that if we do not plan then we will not meet deadlines.

Contributions to product brief:

The contribution that I am making to the brief is that I will have to make sure that all the risk assessments have been done, also the reeces and also things such as the budget. I had to make sure that these were all done so that our group can  work together to make sure that the idents are at a good standard so that we could present these to the client.
