Pre Production

Finance:
Most low budget productions normally find funding from the local council or they find other forms of funding. When the product is then disturbed and sold then the money that they get from that they will pay with interest to whomever they loaned it from. The school will not be funding the food that will be distributed between the actors/actress and the crew so therefore this will be coming out of my own budget. I will have to fund them with my own personal savings. I also pay for the transport of the equipment. I will not have to pay for the transport of the actors/ actress as they have free travel however in this case I will be paying for peoples transport due to the fact busses can be very unreliable and they may be late so then I will pay for their transport to and from the location. Cameras normally range from £51.00 up to as much as £1955.00 just for a single camera shoot which should be low budget as we are only using one camera. For the sake of the webisode I will be using a camera which will be lent to me by the college. The lights range from £60.64 to £200 I will not be using specific lights other than the sun light and if the shoot is not bright enough then I will have to light the scene by using the light in the area. Microphones from £183.64 upwards so that when the actors/actress are getting filmed we will be able to catch everything that they say and lay it over the program so that when they speaks their lip movement is exactly the same. I will also be using an editing suite so that when we have finished filming we are able to move things into the correct places which would usually cost £500 a day but I will be using the Mac’s in the college to edit the footage.

Locations:
The location will be based around a grave yard as this is a horror film and this is one of the scariest locations. I will also base the location around a staircase but due to the fact this is a one minute short horror film. There is no need for the to be more than one location the reason as there would be too much different shots in one short clip.

Time and scheduling:

It is very important to keep on schedule as if we do not hit the deadline then the people that you were hired by you would be fired on the spot. Then people start to lose money as they will have to spend extra money to buy much more equipment to spend on their project. I will be mostly filming on the weekends and on my free periods on my week days when I have free periods. I will get the deadline from my teacher and if this work is incomplete then I will be marked done for not running on time and hitting the deadline.

Crew and Personnel:
Camera Man- We will be using one camera operator as we are only using one camera which means only one camera man.
Actress/ Actor – The people that will be acting in the program.
Editor – will be editing the footage that we collect after we have finished filming.
Sound Check- To make sure that the sound is okay.
Makeup artist- So that the teenager will be made up with makeup and if she is crying then the actress will need mascara so that it will have more of an impact on the audience.
Hair stylist- So that the hair will remain the same throughout the all of the footage.
Advertiser- To advertise the web- serial.
Publisher- To publish it on all types of social media so that the target audience is informed.
Runner- I will also need a runner so that when the actors/actress or the crew need something the runner will quickly go and get what they need.

The cost for the crew and personnel in a single camera production would normally cost around £28,2531,77 due to the fact we do not have this kind of money we will be using people from the college so that will be free of charge and we will only have to spend money on their food.
