Resubmission Final: Box office/ Budget

One of the influences that I had found to create my idea for a short one minute film was the film The Visit. The film gave me the idea to do a possession film. This film is a horror something that I intend to do because the story that I had created has themes of horror in it such as blood, loud screaming and also possessed people.
This shows the box office of The Visit. The reason that I had picked this film was because it fits well with my idea to do with possession and to also show what would be expected in the box office if I was to show this in cinemas.

$25,427,560 (USA) (13 September 2015) (3,069 Screens)

This is the estimated budget of this film. As I am doing a single camera production and it will be a 1 minute film I will not need this type of budget. The estimated budget of my 1 minute film will be up to £100 due to the fact that I will have to pay for the location, the props such as a fake knife, the clothes, the actors, the food that we need for the actors of set, coloured contact lenses as this will need to look like to make them look dead and also the makeup that I will need to use. This is the estimated budget of the things I will need to make this production possible. I would have also had to pay for the crew and the camera but as the crew are my peers and the camera is provided by the school I would not have to pay for it,

This film was shown in the cinema whereas mine will be shown in film festivals therefore this will be have a much lower price.
