An ident is used by TV channels which will be seen before and after a advert. To introduce the next program. Idents tend to look different depending on the channel and the audience that it is aimed at. On BBC Three the ident is aimed at a younger target audience. The purpose for an ident is so that people know what channel it is, this is a much more interesting way of promoting th channel. This has changed over time due to the fact that the idents have become much more intresting. The channel ident has personality due to the fact that it is aimed at a younger target audience and this ident has music involved in it which alot of young people can relate to. The colours are very vibrant this is so that the younger generation dont loose their attention. As the beat of the music plays there beat of the mucic video changes which is very useful due to the fact people will pay attention .
